MURDER IN THE SENTIERBy CARA BLACK
Our criticisms were primarily for plot and character development. It was difficult to follow Aimee's movements and to figure out what she was doing or thinking much of the time. At times it seemed more like a travelogue then a story. As for characters there too many and they seemed to have no depth. It made it a book easy to put down and to forget to come back to. We had to argue with ourselves to get our judgment up to two stars and no one thought that they would recommend the book to a friend or that they were inclined to pick up another book in this series. Sigh. We have been badly spoiled by some of our previous authors like David Fulmer (Jass) and Will Thomas (Some Danger Involved) I'm afraid.
